Messenger Plus! for Skype aims to improve your Skype experience through an easy to install and use sidebar on Skype's interface. You can superimpose them on your video chat without any noticeable effect on the quality or speed of the call. Note that the person with whom you're speaking will only be able to see these animations if they also have Messenger Plus! for Skype installed though.
